God never intended for anyone to go through life alone. One of the primary ways that we build relationships at Springfield First is through our Small Group Ministry, where we care and pray for one another, worship God, study and apply the Bible to our daily lives, and simply hang out, do life, and have fun!

small group for young adults

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

Purpose: To connect Young Adults to each other and Christ through study,
fellowship, and mission.

Who: All young adults, ages 18 to "mid-thirties"

When: Wednesdays at 6:30pm

COLLEGE-AGE YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

Purpose: To connect college age students to each other and Christ through study, 
fellowship, and mission. 

Who: College students

When: Tuesdays at 4:30

small group for men

COMMON THREAD

Purpose: This group studies Scripture and focuses on application of God's Word in our daily walk. We occasionally do a book study for 5-6 weeks.

When: Saturdays at 9:00am

Who: Men of all ages seeking to grow closer to God and deepen their relationship through prayer, Bible study, and daily accountability with others in the group.

FIRST LADIES

Purpose: We are a group of women, single and married, young and more mature, in all shapes and sizes, learning how to follow Christ through Scripture and Bible studies. Be prepared to have a good time and share your life with us.

Who: Women of all ages

When: Tuesdays at 6:30pm

HOPE FOR ALL

Purpose: To grow in our faith and the knowledge of the Bible. Fun, fellowship, and service!

Who: Women ages 50+

When: 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month at 4:45-6:00pm

HEALING LIGHT

So many things can cause grief and pain in our lives... the loss of a loved one or a job, a move to a new location, a change in a relationship, or a myriad of other life circumstances. The path to healing can seem like an impossible journey. Join the Healing Light small group where hurt children of God can grow closer to Him through Scripture, fellowship, and activities, and move to a place of healing and hope.

Who: Adults who are going through grief and pain

When: Every other Tuesday at 10:00am

LTD (LEARN, TALK, DO)

Purpose: LEARN more about our mission as disciples of Jesus Christ. TELL what we have learned about God and His grace. DO God's will and reflect His grace in this world.

Who: Adult singles and couples ages 40+

When: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6:30pm
